In our natural cleaning workshops the most popular product recipe is this basic all purpose spray. Many participants make multiple batches with different essential oil blends - one for each room in the house! We make our own vegetable based soap for the formula, but Dr. Bronner's and Trader Joe's are both great in this formula. 

You will need:
1/4 cup vinegar (apple cider is better for consumption, but distilled white is good for cleaning)
1 1/2 T borax
1/3 cup vegetable soap (liquid)
a 32 ounce spray bottle with a fresh blank label

In the spray bottle, combine the vinegar with the borax and mix well. Dilute with 3 cups of warm distilled water. Finally, add the liquid vegetable soap and 25 drops of the cleaning essential oil blend. Cap and shake well. Fill bottle the rest of the way to the top with distilled water. Be sure to write what you have made on the label.
