This intensive program is divided into 26 topical units and provides 360 study hours to the learner. It can be finished in a year by completing one unit each two weeks. The 360 hours of study are obtained in the following areas: • Anatomy and Physiology: 24 hours • Pathology and Biochemistry: 34 hours • Nutrition: 40 hours • Botany and Plant Identification: 18 hours • Materia Medica: 68 hours • Therapeutic Herbalism: 46 hours • Pharmacognosy and Dispensing: 50 hours • Clinical Skills: 54 hours • Practice Development / Ethics: 12 hours • History and Philosophy: 14 hours Upon admission, each student will receive: • Spiral bound 2 volume curriculum • Personal “one on one” time with Jessie • Lifetime access to our students only message boards • Weekly virtual study hall with Jessie • Herbal supply kit with organic herbs, essential oils, packaging and containers for preparations and beeswax • The Handbook of Vintage Remedies • Discounted admission to all Vintage Remedies events Enrollment in the Family Herbalist program is $160 with 5 monthly payments of $65 OR $435 when paid in full (save $50). |
