This program includes clinical herbalism, homeopathy, enzyme therapy, flower remedies, nutrition, natural health philosophy, reflexology, naturopathy, environmental health and sustainable living. There is no other course like it anywhere! We've included the foundation necessary to understand the advanced fields of study, and the preparation necessary to successfully include it into various existing careers. This course is most popular with nurses, midwives, chiropractors and other current professionals, and it also trains the aspiring professional to accurately and successfully promote healthy and balanced living within the home and community. Like all of our courses, this program teaches reliable and effective natural health from a Biblical perspective.
In this program, you will learn more about the holistic model of care. The course material includes advanced study of holistic health and contains an extensive medica materia for each method of care. The material is contained in a cohesive and easy to understand method, yet provides a deep understanding of some of the more complex and difficult areas of wellness. Topics are addressed from a preventative standpoint, carefully combining the benefits of time tested natural healing with modern research and a clear understanding of environmental causes of disease, so they can be addressed and eliminated. The program includes a total of 44 units, which provide 960 hours of study and is typically completed in 2-3 years.
This course is available in both our Traditional Textbooks format or the new Virtual Vintage Remedies format. Both formats include access to the student portal for online test taking, grading, updates and additional study. The Virtual Vintage Remedies option also includes access to the course section where the student text, projects and other materials are available. The Traditional Textbooks option includes the student textbooks and guidebook.
