Meet the VR Staff
Jessie Hawkins, founder and ceo
Jessie is our founder and the ceo of Vintage Remedies, Inc. She’s been in the natural health field for over a decade, and in addition to studying food history, pediatric health, and medical anthropology to earn her degree in environmental studies, she has experience as a childbirth educator, doula, aromatherapist, herbalist, naturopath, wellness consultant, sustainability advocate, and author. She began Vintage Remedies in 2005 and has been teaching individuals how to improve their health through the unique online study programs we offer since 2007. She’s married to Matthew and together they raise their four growing children in middle Tennessee. She has written over a dozen books on natural health and speaks to families and professionals across the country for educational workshop and professional CEUs. Her background is diverse and holistic, enabling her to bring a wide variety of experiences to Vintage Remedies. She continues her education through graduate programs in public health and CEUs that teach biomedical interventions for modern childhood epidemics (such as ADHD and autism) and similar subjects. When she's not in the office, she spends time in her garden, kitchen, and with the kids, passing along sustainable habits to the next generation.
Cassie Soule, Director
Cassie has been working with Vintage Remedies since 2010 and helps provide support for participants in the online learning center. Her degree is in psychology and she has an extensive list of continuing education that includes herbalism, holistic wellness, labor doula training, Hypnobabies certification, and breastfeeding education. Our participants in the online learning center can direct questions and support requests about the program to Cassie, who follows the online system to ensure all students obtain maximum benefit from the opportunities available through the multi-media programs. She is also a pastor's wife and busy mommy of three boys.
McCaskey "Cassie" Farmer, Office Manager
Cassie takes care of the ordering, shipping, and inventory needs here at Vintage Remedies. She also processes registration for new participants in the online distance learning programs and ensures that each order is carefully packaged and sent out in a timely manner, in addition to taking care of the paperwork required for each order and registration.
MacKenzie Moore, Office Assistant
When you receive a package from Vintage Remedies, the attention to detail in the packaging is thanks to MacKenzie. She takes care of all of the preparation and packaging for our learning materials, curricula, and everything that leaves our office. In addition to her work with Vintage Remedies, she’s a full time student and will be heading to college this fall.
