Our affiliate program is our way of saying thanks to all of our loyal fans and provides a creative way for you to earn some income on the side! What's an affiliate?
If approved as an affiliate, you will be able to place banners and linked buttons on your website that will direct your readers to the Vintage Remedies bookstore. When they make purchases or enroll in a program through your link, you'll earn commission for referring them!
How much can I make?
Approved affiliates begin making 10% of every purchase made through their links. Established affiliates (those that have earned over $1,000 in commission) will earn 12% of every purchase made through their affiliate links, and affiliates that reach $2,000 in commission will lock in a 15% commission rate! There are no limits to the amount of commission you can earn!
Who can apply? / Am I eligible?
Anyone with an approved blog or website is welcome to apply! We will be working with a limited number of quality websites and blogs for this exclusive program, and each applicant's website or blog will be reviewed individually. Once you're approved, we'll continue to review your site to make sure it remains appropriate for our program.
Why do you need my tax information?
As an affiliate, you will be earning commission on sales you sent to our website. We are required by the IRS to report the income and they require that we obtain a SSN and w-9 form for each of our affiliates for tax and accounting purposes.
How and when will I be paid?
You can select during the application process how you prefer to be paid. We send payments via both PayPal and physical check. Commissions are sent the following month and you will receive your PayPal deposit or check by the end of the following month. For example, commissions earned during April will be paid by the end of May. Note: Earnings must reach $50 for a deposit to be initiated. If the commission is less than $50, it will roll over to the next pay period.
How will I know I've earned money?
Our system will email you to notify you of new commissions and payouts. You will also be able to log into the secure affiliate portal on our website to review pending and approved affiliate commissions.
What if I refer someone through my link, but they don't make a purchase for another three weeks?
You'll still receive your commission! Our program has a triple redundancy monitoring system. It monitors IP addresses, cookies and sessions to ensure that you receive your credit. If someone clicks your affiliate link, any purchase they make for a full 90 days will be credited towards your account - even if they don't click your link again! (Note: The first affiliate link receives the commission.)
Do I need to take orders or ship anything? Do I need a secure website?
You won't need to do anything other than continue doing what you're probably already doing - spreading the word about Vintage Remedies and our services / resources! All orders will be placed through our secure website, and your specially coded links will document that the order came from your referral. Your readers will place orders on our secure site and be cared for by our staff members just like any other order that comes through.
Can I earn a referral for sending new affiliates to Vintage Remedies?
Absolutely! If a new affiliate signs up for the program through one of your affiliate referral links, you will receive 25% commission on earnings of affiliates you've referred! This is another great way to increase your earning potential!
How does it work?
Upon acceptance, you will receive admission to an affiliate portal. In this secure section of the website, you will be able to download banners, text ads and links in various sizes for your blog or website. You can then copy and paste the code directly into your site to start earning right away!
